That’s exactly why I started Coffee at the Coast.
I saw a gap - a lack of real, meaningful networking opportunities in Perth’s far northern suburbs - and decided to create the kind of space I had always wished for.
This isn’t your average business meet-up.
It’s a casual, welcoming gathering for women in business to connect, share openly, and walk away feeling inspired to take their next step - however small or imperfect it may be.

Why I started this
On my own business journey, I’ve often felt paralysed - holding back out of fear, waiting until I had everything perfectly lined up, telling myself it was all too hard.
But something shifts when you're in a room with other women who’ve been there too.
We stop feeling so alone. We realise everyone’s winging it a little. And we start to take action - even if it’s messy or outside our comfort zone.
What to expect
This is a small, intimate gathering - on purpose.
It’s not about pitching or performing. It’s about real conversations, honest reflections, and creating a trusted network of women who want to lift each other up.
Bring your challenges (if you want to), share your wins, and maybe even speak aloud the one thing you’ve been putting off. Sometimes just saying it out loud is all it takes to start moving forward.
Our first Coffee at the Coast took place in October 2023, and since then, magic has unfolded. Women have met their next collaborator, accountability buddy, cheerleader - or even client - over coffee.
A note on connection
I see people asking in Facebook groups, “Where do I find clients?”
For me, it’s not social media. It’s here - in rooms like this, where we get to know each other, build trust, and naturally become each other’s cheerleaders.
No need to have your elevator pitch nailed or your ducks in a row.
Just come along, be yourself, and connect with one new person before you leave. That’s the only rule.
